Central World – you find everything there!

Central World is one of the largest shopping complexes in Bangkok. It is huge in size and has everything from fashionable stores, gadgets stores, bookshops, to beauty salons and restaurants. It is a perfect entertainment place. It has so many shops and things that you can spend your whole day going through each floor.  So, don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes!!

 

 

The popular stores amongst teens are Forever 21 and Miss Sixty. They are always packed with people as they have a great collection of clothes of every type. Forever 21 have all types for young women and men. Not only clothes but they have great accessories that are trendy and can be worn to any occasion.

Central World has great collection of all brands from MNG, Zara, Playboy Esprit, Sasch, to Vincci, Gap, Bossini, and a lot more. Not only great clothes but they also have some good stores for cosmetics and beauty. There is The Body Shop which has sets of all lipsticks, make up and anything a teenager or a woman would be looking for.  There are also Watsons, Boots, and Red Earth to explore for more cosmetics. If you want to buy sports equipments and wears, then there is SuperSports shop that have all kinds of sports shoes so that you can choose the one that best suites you. One of the famous stores in CW is also Zen which is a great, trendy lifestyle megastore which contains Japanese items and many imported ones.

The first ever Uniqlo in Thailand is in Central World. Uniqlo is a great quality brand and are very durable. The jeans from Uniqlo are great.

One of the main attractions of CW is the ICE SKATING RINK. People love to come by and skate over there. The price as well is reasonable for the fun you want.

King Power, the duty free shop, is also there in CW where you can buy watches, perfumes, pens, bracelets, and many more items.  For more gifts and stationeries, there is B2S that also have varieties of books.  As for more book series and collection, you can go to Kinokuniya.

If you are a Sanrio fan than there is no greater place as they have a Sanrio shop itself. It has all the items from sanrio club.

For electronics, Powerbuy would be a great place for gadgets and appliances. Over there you can get from home theatre televisions to cameras and ipods.

At Toys R Us you can buy great toys, games, cards and so many more decorative and unique items. However, Toys R Us are a bit expensive.

The SF World Cinema is splendid at CW. There are 15 screens in totals. It is divided into the supreme theater and the normal ones. It is a really good place for theatres as the seats are comfortable and relaxing.

Dining—- After going through the ride of Central World, you would obviously want something delicious for your stomach!! So, central world has great dining to offer from Manhattan, BreadTalk, Nara, Curry House, to the Pizza Company, Pepper Lunch, Starbucks, Buddi Belly ice-cream, Ice monster, Dairy Queen, Mc Donalds, and many more. Every floor you go, you’ll find something interesting.

Central World has so much that it’s hard to describe it and that’s why I feel you should check it out!

Big C

Big C may not sound like a shopping mall but it certainly is. The name Big C had recently changed from Carrefour, but everything inside the mall is still the same. Big C is a supermarket place where you can get all you house appliances, and at the same time you can shop for clothes in wholesale price. Inside Big C there are small booths that sell variety of things such as socks, jackets, and many more. There is always a different stall at the center depending upon the trend going on. Big C also has many dining restaurants and small, yummy snack stalls. They also have particular shops of mobile and SIM cards like the most common ones, DTAC and Samsung.

The first floor at the entrance always has the watch booth, gift booth, socks booth, accessories booth, and many more items. There is also shoes shop of Bata and other shoes stall sold in cheap prices and at good quality. There are also small shops of jackets, night suites, tops, and a lot of jeans, but they are not branded ones. Big C does have several brand stores such as Hass, Diesel, Armani Exchange, and many more. On the second floor, on the left side, there is a wine store with plenty of varieties. On the left handed side, there is this clothes shop which sells the olden Thai style cloth and some souvenirs.

Big C has Office Depot on the first floor where you can shop all your office supplies and school stationeries. You can also find local books and magazines in the book store right beside Office Depot.

The superstore itself does not only contain households and groceries but also sell electronics. Along with all the groceries, there is a small section of sport equipments where all types of ball, from soccer ball to basketball, and badminton racket to sport shoes, are sold.  There is also some great modern furniture from one of the famous and durable place, Index Furniture.  You can also buy gadgets of camera, mobiles, and any device related to computer and mobile. One of the best things about the supermarket is the bakery store which is at the very end. The bakery store of Big C has the different types of unique breads and cupcakes. The brownies and choco balls from there are really tasty. Behind the market, there is a store which sells some aromatic candles and small furniture along with it. In the supermarket, there is always some sale going on or promotions such as the Buy 1 get 1 free promotion, which is really common in Big C.

Big C also have a small photo booth where one side you can take passport size photo which can come in handy sometimes, and on the other side, you can make postcard photos with text and decorations. All you have to do is bring your USB or camera portable device, and you can add the photos in the machine. Then you can decide what to write and which background you want and get your photo done easily. It is only 20 baht per photo and it’s really worth it! This machine is located next to the MK restaurant. There are many other restaurants as well, particularly fast food, such as Yayoi, Mc Donald’s, KFC, Yum Saap, Swensons, Starbucks, Dairy Queen and more, where you can enjoy your lunch or dinner.

Beside Big C, there are numerous stalls selling clothes outside and they are quite fashionable and latest in trends. They are as well part of Big C. They are in the wholesale prices range and are very reasonable. However, it’s not branded, so if you are a branded person, then I would recommend you to buy from inside, and if you just like outfits that are trendy, then it is a really good place to buy some tops and shirts.

Big C has way more than what we think it has!
